    The Pound and Kester Families were from New Jersey before settling in Kentucky. Mrs. Shriner and I did not learn of the existence of the Aaron Stark Family Association until early in through Mr. Howard P. Moore, a very thorough genealogical researcher in New York City. We purchased a copy of the Aaron Stark Family publication that same year. Pound Immigrant Families: Arriving From Many Countries. We have had a photocopied copy of the pages of The Pound & Kester Families book for years and were happy to find this reprint so we could one in book form.

It is the most complete compilation of these two families that we have ever seen. Published init is a great book for genealogists with connections to either family.

My Kester family line is included in it, from the east coast to the west coast. Hunt, who wrote the book sure put a lot of his life into it, it was first published inI can just picture all the files he would of had to have had (long before the computer days!).
